Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-05
Tracing Town is built for children and the adults who teach them, so our privacy stance is deliberately simple: this website collects as little as possible, and at launch it collects nothing at all.
What we collect
Nothing, at launch. The site runs no analytics scripts, no advertising networks, no social media pixels and no third-party fonts or widgets. When you use the name tracing generator, the name you type is processed entirely in your own browser and is never sent to our servers — this keeps children's names safe by design.
Hosting logs
Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as the requested page and a technical IP address) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify visitors and we do not combine them with any other data.
Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies. If we later add functionality that requires cookies (for example, remembering print preferences), we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Children's privacy
The worksheets are designed to be printed and completed on paper; there is nothing on the site that asks a child for personal information. In line with children's privacy laws such as COPPA and the UK GDPR-K framework, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Email contact
If you email us, we keep your message only long enough to reply and resolve your question. We never add email addresses to marketing lists and we never share them with anyone.
Changes and questions
If this site ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated and clearly dated before any change takes effect. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@tracingtown.com.
